A urethral stricture is a narrowing in any part of the urethra (the tube that drains urine from the bladder). This narrowing limits the normal urine flow and can cause various symptoms. Urethral strictures occur primarily in men because they have a longer urethra than women do. Strictures may be caused by inflammation, surgical scar tissue, disease or injury.
If you are experiencing symptoms associated with this or any urology related condition you should consult with your physician; it is important to see your doctor as early as possible, find a physician in your area.
